Hullo here
As most of you may know, we have stayed back over the past few days to rush on the CNY lantern thing, which happens to be due like .... today. Yeh, a bit of last min spirit here, but we completed it rite :D
And for the benefit of those who didn't saw the end product,
voila, 谁要吃米吗？ ^^
and .. wow ... we managed to change the oddly shaped ball with no design in mind(wad we done on mon) , to a proposed Pikachu-Hamtaro mix (tues ..) to a squeaky mouse nibbing on rice.
And this will all never be done if not for :
--> Geraldine -- For getting us started, clearing nonsensical plans out of the way, making the 米plague and initiating the 老鼠爱大米 idea
--> Samuel -- For creating the entire design for the head and body, for without which, we will be stuck with cardboard
--> Rini -- For the nose and tooth idea, which made our mouse, eh ... a mouse (if not it will really be Pikachu or some similiar rabbit)
& last but not least our CT rep,
--> Yuting -- For overall organisation, related helpouts and supervising
and Credits too all the poor souls i have forgotten or missed out such as:
--> All those who came on mon/tues/wed pw lesson
--> All those who provided us with materials so that we can trial-&-error

Also a list of happenings tmr:
--> Graphic Calculator Purchase : Bring your $$ for TI84 Plus if you wish to purchase them. Sponsors are also welcomed.
--> Proposed Lunch : After sch(2.50pm). Location/Timing/Price subjected to changes. Prepare your schedule/wallet for slight adjustments.

omg. i cant believe our class blog is up already ! and its freak cool ! with the ipod thing and that our class photo enlarges when you scroll to it ! heh. very very pretty. THANKYOU to all who did this ! ((: was really touched when i read callum's post. didnt know that he was such a sentimental guy. callum, will really miss you when you leave. but no matter what, we`ll support any decision that you have decided to make yea !

Details for council applications and election updates are avaliable at the above website. Please also note that each application form costs $4 beacuse it costs $75 a day to keep the voting system alive and kicking.

Reminder for things to bring on Monday (28/1/2008):
- 12 bucks for aqua house shirt
- $5 for talent time tix if you're interested
- scissors
- glue
- hongbaos (LOTS)
- stapler
- shiny stuff (beads etc.)
- ideas on how to make a nice lantern
- anything mouse related things (excluding computer mouse)
- Bring GP file
- Bring running shoes for PE (those that don't give you blisters), just in case

Hi there everyone,
Well I guess this is going to be the first official post.
First off, I guess its only appropiate that I thank, on behalf of the class, those who have put in considerable amount of effort to get this blog done - kudos especially Zhong Ying, Samuel, our Civics rep, Yu Ting, for starting off the idea and many other who chipped in in contributing ideas for the blog even though it was already late into the night.
Alright, now cutting to the chase for my main purpose for posting this post... As you all know, I won't be staying in NJC as I'll be pursuing a diploma in a polytechnic. It has been a tough decision especially after getting to know the class, you guys. Even though it has only been a short 3 to 4 weeks, S15, you've made my stay at NJC really enjoyable and fun filled, aside from the mugging part (haha). I won't and can't forget you guys - well maybe not everyone in the class *winks*. (Forgive for sounding sentimental, but I'm a person who doesn't forget friends easily.) Just be sure to update me when there're any class outings and I'll do my best to make it, 'cause the poly semester is very different from the JC academic calendar. I still remember the first day when we were first split up to form OG15, many of us were really blur, and Mark was constantly targetted in the bonding games as his name was the easiest to remember, and the courage that several individuals in our class took to come up, volunteer and lead our class in cheers. Kudo's to you guys too, for you have made S15 a much livelier place during the orientation (and without you, we might have been stuck with Julie's orbit cheer...)
Well, I guess this is it to the first official post. I'll miss you guys.
